Chuck on yer dancing boots folks, because everyone’s mate Russell Coight is back for another crack.
The famed Aussie travel mockumentary series All Aussie Adventures, which last aired in 2002 – with a telemovie in 2004 – is back for another go on Channel Ten‘s new lineup. Yep, Glenn Robbins is absolutely back to play our charming hero.
“That show hasn’t been on for 15 years and there’s a real gap in the market in terms of commercial television for early evening comedy,” Beverley McGarvey, Network Ten chief content officer, told Mumbrella.
“The Working Dog team do a great job, Glenn Robbins is a very accomplished performer and we’re confident that will be something that really appeals to people.”
If there’s something we definitely need in 2016, it’s the japes of Russell Coight’s complete failure to understand or convey anything actually truthful about Australia. Also fart jokes. Anticipate huge, huge volumes of fart jokes.
Keep an eye out for it in 2017.
