Dead-set legend Chris Pratt has just wrapped up his first Saturday Night Live hosting gig, and judging by the audience’s screams at his appearance on that hallowed stage, he’s welcome back any time he likes.
For his opening monologue, he went with a musical number, which is not quite an original gambit given the sheer number of musical monologues the show has featured of late, but his song was Mouse Rat-worthy enough to earn him a pass.
Lyrical subject matter included his recent weight loss, and special sexy baby-making times Anna Faris, who was present and possibly feeling a bit awkward.
As SNL enters its 40th season, former castmates Bill Hader and Sarah Silverman have been announced as hosts for upcoming episodes, along with comedian Jim Carrey.
