Anyway, a certain Chad Michael Murray proved on the weekend that he’s not above a throwback, taking wife Sarah Roemer to an honest-to-god prom in his old Austin Ames get-up.
“I waited for a prince and he took me to my 1st prom,” she captioned her Instagram pic, hashtagging #austinames just so there wasn’t any confusion.
The prom in question was the annual Children’s Hospital of Orange Country prom, which provides a prom for teens with cancer who might have otherwise had to skip their high school’s right of passage.
So yeah. CMM just broke out AA to bring a smile to teens with cancer like it was NBD.
“This is the greatest prom I’ve ever seen,” he said in an Instagram video, turning the camera on the Alice in Wonderland-themed space. “We’re all mad here.”
And yes, that’s his original costume.

TBH, the only thing that would have made this better is if Roemer had chucked on a mask à la PrincetonGirl818.
