Buckle The Fk Up, ‘Cos A ‘Fast & Furious’ Stage Show Is Doin’ A World Tour

Please, buckle the fuck up. Fast and Furious – which is absolutely your favourite series about illegal street racing, heists, and Vin Diesel‘s head – is being turned into a stage show. Something like this, I imagine:

The press release makes it pretty clear that this show will completely exceed anything that poindexter nerd Shakespeare ever produced:

Fast & Furious Live will evoke the most audacious moments from the beloved series. Audiences will feel the heat from flaming exhausts and marvel at mind-blowing vehicular acrobatics as scene after scene unfolds with the most immersive, entertaining technology imaginable.

The show is being created by Chris Hughes and James Cooke-Priest, as well as writer/director Rowland French. It’s the same squad behind the wildly popular live Top Gear show. It’s touring the world from 2018 – no dates or locations have been announced at this point.

The producers say it’s going to be “the most spectacular live automotive production in history,” and I’m finding it very very difficult to imagine how it could not be.
Look, it provably isn’t, but I’m going to pretend this will be a musical.
