Remember when Billy West started reading out Donald Trump quotes in the voice of Futurama‘s Zapp Brannigan and we all lost our fucking minds? A quality day on the internet, that one. Truly great.
Well, in light of Trump straight-up quoting Bane in his inauguration day speech, West is back at it, reading Trump quotes in the voice of Batman‘s mouth-guarded villain.
ICYMI, Trump’s speech – whether intentional or not, but almost definitely the latter – borrowed a quote from Bane’s speech in ‘The Dark Knight Rises‘.

So here you have West – doing his best Tom Hardy-as-Bane impression – reading out Trump’s widely-panned speech to the CIA on the first day of his presidency.

So far, this is the first and only Bane offering from West. He gifted us with dozens of Zapp Brannigan / Trump clips, so tbh we’re solidly hopeful there’s more.
