Benjamin Law has confirmed on Twitter that his SBS show The Family Law has been renewed for a second season!
The Family Law centres around Law growing up as a gay male in an Asian migrant family, living on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.
The beauty of the show is that Aussies of all heritages can widely relate when they’re watching the Law fam:
“One of the most satisfying things about season one of The Family Law was seeing how many audience members – Asian and non-Asian Australian alike – felt their own families were finally reflected back at them,” said Law.
The show launched in January this year when the pilot was premiered in full on Facebook – which got a whopping 1.1 million views. It was also the highest viewed program on SBS On Demand this season.
So, therefore – please gird your loins for a glitteringly funny second season:
