Much to the chagrin of Kyle Sandilands, Rove McManus starts his new 2Day FM breakfast show in Sydney soon. A number of names have been thrown around as potential co-hosts so far, including Carrie Bickmore and Emma Friedman.
The strongest contender, however, appears to be none other than Sam Frost, fresh from finding love on The Bachelorette. That’s according to entertainment commentator Peter Ford, who confidently said as much on the 3AW breakfast show.
Ford’s exact words to the 3AW team were:
“Sam Frost has not only scored herself a bloke but she’s scored herself a radio gig. She’s going to be Rove McManus’s new co-host on his Sydney breakfast radio show which begins next week.”
Southern Cross Austereo, when contacted for comment by News Corp, refused to confirm any rumours in regards to Rove’s co-host or the launch date of his upcoming show, although Dan & Maz have already vacated their 2Day FM breakfast slot.
