Australian Miners Fired For Doing The Harlem Shake

15 miners (including seven who just wanted to watch, so who are we to judge?) have been sacked from meme-adverse Australian mining company Barminco, an industry leader in underground hard rock mining and overzealous fun policing, after convulsing in their underthings and filming a Harlem Shake video at the Agnew Gold Mine in Western Australia.

The former Barminco employees were informed via letter that performing the dance on site was breaching the company’s “core values of safety, integrity and excellence,” which is at least two-thirds correct considering just how belated, unimaginative and poorly shot their video is. You should all be ashamed of yourselves.
