Sydney, congratu-fucking-lations: today is a surprise free burrito day.
Legitimately. The powers that be have deemed that 750 of you lucky battlers will be gifted with a tortilla full of goodness, courtesy of none other than Zambrero.
In honour of the 15 million meals the chain has donated to those in need through its homegrown Plate 4 Plate movement, some of Zambrero’s Sydney stores are giving away 150 burritos, each.
Damn right: if you hop over to Oxford Street, Coogee, Lidcombe, Campbelltown, or Marsden Park, just tell your favourite wrap-assembler / new m8 “congrats on the 15 million” to receive that perfect freebie.
While we reckon free burritos are a pretty solid way to recognise anything, the fact that over 15 million nutrient-packed meals have been distributed across the planet – and in collaboration with Foodbank in Australia – is pretty spesh.
The chain is also matching meal donations for each and every one of those foil-wrapped bad boys, so there’s even more incentive for you to take advantage of this cosmic blessing.
The offer is only on for today, and only at those stores. We’ll probably see you there, tbh.
