These Cute Wines Raise Money For Rescue Puppies, If You Needed A Reason To Drink Tonight

As if we even needed any more encouragement to crack into a couple of wines after a long day doing life, now you can feel like you’re giving back with your boozy habits – well giving back to precious rescue puppies.

Sit Stay Society wines, the new range that has just popped up at BWS and Dan Murphy’s, will donate 50c from every bottle sold to PetRescue‘s adoption programs and various free services – helping puppies find forever homes.

So far the range consists of half-bottles of shiraz tempranillo and a cabernet malbec, which is kinda genius because you know that you have to commit to a red if you open it. If you can’t finish the bottle in one session then you may as well put it in your spaghetti’s red sauce, because it’s not gonna be good enough to drink.

But a half bottle? My friends that is the perfect amount for a solo wine sesh in the backyard, on the couch, over dinner, or in the bath. I could easily polish off a half bottle of wine to myself and tuck myself in bed very happily tipsy. If anything, this bottle is helping you to NOT have that gross red wine hangover the next morning.

BWS has confirmed that the range will expand further down the line, with more wines (featuring more adorable pups on the labels) hitting shelves as the weather warms up – specifically whites and rosé.

So let this be your official end-of-week permission slip to drop into the BWS on the way home, pick up a $10 bottle of the Good Dog Wine™ and give yourself a treat. You’re welcome.
