An 18 Y.O. Bradley Cooper’s Horny Op-Ed About Fuck Buddies Has Resurfaced

Bradley Cooper’s film career has seen him become a chef, an American sniper, and a raccoon. His high school career, however, appears to have been dedicated to journalism – and rooting. At least, that is what we can infer after the unearthing of a 1993 op-ed in the Philadelphia Daily News, penned by Cooper as an 18-year-old intern.

Posted to Twitter by Philadelphia Enquirer feature writer Tommy Rowan, ‘When best friends cross the line reveals the dynamic between the high school senior and his mate, Deborah Landes.

“Can best friends who are of the opposite sex hook up with each other without destroying their friendship? In my case, yes… So far,” Cooper said.

Cooper, who would only later transition from frankly detailing his burgeoning sex life to landing a string of Academy Award nominations, wrote “the reason we are able to cross that line and maintain our great friendship is that we really don’t know how to be anything other than best friends.”

The piece goes on to ruminate on the care-free nature of their relationship, but Cooper darkly insinuated the whole thing would go belly-up after graduation.

“The real test will probably come when I have to hear about how much fun she is having at the shore this summer,” he said.

While the piece notably doesn’t include any comment from Landes – funny, that – at least one Twitter users took it upon themself to find out whatever happened to his previous paramour.

In case you were wondering, Landes appears to live in Utah, and Facebook posts suggest a happy relationship with a man who definitely isn’t Bradley Cooper.

Cooper and model Irina Shayk have been in a relationship since 2015, and have a child together. No word on his op-ed on that situation, folks.
