Can we get a ‘YIEWWWWWWWWWWW’, because everyone’s favourite pair of musical loose units – Peking Duk – just announced their biggest Aussie tour to date.
The Canberra boys will kick off the aptly-named ‘Clowntown Tour’ in the NSW town of Terrigal in late April, before moving on to get sweaty in pretty much every major city right up until the end of May.
Joining them as supports are Melbourne‘s Ivan Ooze and Brisbane rapper Mallrat, promising one heck of a good time for all.
PEDESTRIAN.TV grabbed a minute with our gr8 m8s Adam and Reuben to grill them on some of what you can expect from Clowntown.
Here’s four things they shared with us:
THERE WILL BE SWEAT, AND LOTS OF IT
“Be ready to get fucking sweaty. It’s going to be a crazy Dystopian circus vibe and we want everyone to go off,” says Reuben. “Everybody needs to be down to clown.”
THERE WILL BE COSTUMES
“We’re not saying turn up in a clown outfit and freak everyone the fuck out but costumes are welcome,” clarifies Adam. “Wear anything you want, or nothing at all. Everybody’s welcome.
THERE WILL BE UNRELEASED MUSIC
“It’s stuff that we’ve been working on in the past year,” says Adam. “As well as some older stuff, obviously, but there’ll definitely be new music. Hopefully we can release another track we’ve been putting together before even the tour starts.”
THERE WILL BE BULK SURPRISES
“There’ll be lots of special guests… maybe cameos from certain actors,” says Reuben. “Sick costumes… We may come out riding dingoes, like in the tour poster, or may not.”
