‘Sleeping With Other People‘, the film about Alison Brie and Jason Sudeikis trying really, really hard not to bang each other, has just gotten a trailer.
It’s looking like this is going to be the filthiest minded feel good rom com to ever make it’s way out of Hollywood. (You kind of have to wonder how the drug and anal jokes got past the USA’s advertising standards authority. Is this trailer rated R?)
The film is littered with comedy heavyweights, with Will Ferrel and Adam McKay executive producing, and Adam Scott, Adam Brody, and OITNB’s Natasha Lyone popping up.
Despite having kiiiiiiind of a similar plot to ‘When Harry Met Sally‘ (but with less faking orgasms, probably, because this is 2015 and a girl’s gotta get it), ‘Sleeping With Other People’ is getting rave reviews.
It won Best Film at at Sundance Film Festival, started a bidding war with most major companies (IFC Films won with a seven figure sum), and by popular demand was shown at the 2015 Tribeca Film Festival, it sold out in pre-sale tickets.
