Step Inside Australia’s First Topshop Store

Last night Topshop / Topman launched open the doors of its 1,600 square foot flagship on South Yarra’s Chapel Street in Melbourne for a sneaky look before the official opening this morning and guess what? It’s awesome.

Even the most what’s-cooler-than-being-cool Melbourne ladies who launch were losing it over the private styling suites, sequined shorts and blue suede shoes. Nearly every guest had their arms full of shiny shopping, including our slammin’ pal Jessica Gomes (pic below) – who was wearing Topshop’s neon pink, floor length lycra gown which was incidentally the only thing I tried on. Mucho depressing.

Top picks we the party dresses, sitting at between $90 and $240, crushed velvet and rose gold heels you will lose sleep over retailing at $125, flats for $54, statement metallic jackets and blazers for $144 and pleated midi skirts for $115. Topman held it’s own with with coloured skinny jeans at $90 and super fly suits.

New product drops in store twice weekly, on Tuesdays and Fridays.
