“Drops Of Jupiter” Will Rain Down Upon The NRL Grand Final This Weekend

Dudes who have definitely ordered bespoke leather pants before, Train, and former Gun N’ Roses guitarist Slash will provide the pre-match entertainment at the NRL Grand Final in Sydney this weekend.

Train, who are returning to our shores for Bluesfest next year, will perform a medley of hits including the best karaoke song of all time, “Drops Of Jupiter”.

“I became a big fan of rugby league last time we were in Australia and now we get to perform at the biggest rugby League event of all,” Train frontman Pat Monahan said. “We feel so honoured and excited to be asked to be a part of the NRL Grand Final this year. Australia is an incredible place and this is an incredible event. Thank you for having us!!”
While Slash, currently in the country to promote his new album World On Fire, will take the stage to perform his new single “Bent To Fly”. “I’m really excited to be in Australia and open the NRL Grand Final entertainment with our track Bent to Fly. Australia is one of my favourite places in the world and I can’t wait to play at such a huge event,” he said. “It’s going to be awesome.”
Both performances will be broadcast on the Nine Network from 6:30pm.
