Last night, pictures of Ashlee Savins, 21, with a bloodied face and a chipped tooth went viral on Facebook. Originally shared by Ashlee’s housemate Ellie Sutton, they are allegedly the result of Ashlee being punched multiple times in the face by her partner Justin Toro, 21.

While 99.9% of the response to the post and subsequent media coverage has been positive towards Ashlee / scathing of Justin, FOR SOME FKN REASON that we can’t think of, a vegan blogger / troll hobbyist Durianrider took this opportunity to explain who the REAL guilty party was here: Ashlee.
Below is his (now deleted) comment on Ellie’s post:
This might have been deleted, but as per a follow-up post on his Facebook page, here’s his justification:

“I have put up over 100 comments online today but a small group of wankers keep taking me out of context and only focusing on 1 post I wrote that I wrote in a harsh tone that was DESIGNED to change the mental state of someone whose face was still bleeding! It is a highly effective technique that works 100% of the time in my experience.”

Hey, Durianrider, from one wanker to another, can you pls chuck us the other 100+ comments? Editor@pedestriangroup.com.au, ta.

Unfortch for us all, he’s not the only one spouting misinformation and abuse (he just happens to be the loudest); Ellie told PEDESTRIAN.TV that others were proclaiming that pictures of blood on Ashlee’s legs pointed to her becoming injured by falling over (the same story Justin told the police).
“There was blood all over her hands, shirt, everywhere,” Ellie said. “There was so much blood coming from her nose it ran down to her legs.”
She tells us that although Ashlee has had her tooth fixed, she’s currently waiting for the swelling on her nose to go down before she can have surgery to fix it.

But aside from all that, the response has been overwhelmingly positive.

“It’s shining a light on domestic violence everywhere,” Ellie told P.TV. “It’s for all women who are experiencing domestic violence who are too scared to report it, or have done so but nothing’s happened.”

The ongoing investigation will now conclude with an inquiry into the police response to the incident, after accusations that they only took action once the story went viral.
