The thing that we can only assume he swore a blood oath to never let happen again has happened again to Shannon Noll: he’s come second in an Australian reality TV program.
After getting blatantly robbed by Guy Sebastian in the 2003 series of Australian Idol, I bet Nollsy never anticipated he’d have to slurp down the heady brew of just missing out on reality TV success again, but here he is, getting pipped at the post by comedian Fiona O’Loughlin in I’m A Celebrity.
While it’s safe to say the crushing disappointment is so impossible to bear at this point that it couldn’t even be soothed with a huge pay cheque, at least he can console himself by knowing that he beat out such incredibly accomplished celebs as David Oldfield, Jackie Gillies, and Vicky Pattison.
