Apparently the previously announced tour simply wasn’t enough. The irrepressible, certainly one-of-a-kind, human equivalent of a bunch of glittery pool noodles held together by agave toffee, Noel Fielding recently unveiled grand plans to bring his highly acclaimed stage show “An Evening With Noel Fielding” to the Antipodes.
But it seems even he has now fallen victim to the scourge known as “popular demand” and is more than willing to cave to it.
The former six show tour is having two more added to it, bringing the total to a much handsomer eight. Fans in Sydney and Melbourne will get the chance to double dip, with the new shows finding Noel thrusting himself back into each city for a second journey – potentially through time and/or space.
The show, as per the previous press release, promises to bring Fielding’s “unique brand of stand up comedy, live animation, music, and some of [his] best known TV characters including The Moon and Fantasy Man.” And, as always, younger brother, DJ extraordinaire, and highly gifted shaman Mike Fielding will be tagging along with him to bring a dose of Naboo to you all.
