Alan Jones Apologises For Unlawful Dick Comments Made Seven Years Ago

Sydney radio broadcaster and guardian of the eighth circle of hell, Alan Jones, has today made an on-air apology for some seriously unlawful/dick comments he made seven years ago about Lebanese Muslim men because apparently he’s been spending a really long time in his room having a good hard think about what he’s done and hasn’t been allowed to come out until he has something nice to say or else he shouldn’t say anything at all period.

After what is being described by both The ABC and The Herald Sun as ‘a lengthy legal battle’, Jones was ordered by the Administrative Decisions Tribunal (ADT) to apologise for reading aloud a letter written in response to a Nine Network news story which referred to Lebanese Muslim males as “vermin” and “mongrels” who hated Australia: “If ever there was a clear example that Lebanese males in their vast numbers not only hate our country and our heritage, this was it. They simply rape, pillage and plunder a nation that’s taken them in.”
The ADT determined that Jones’ comments – just one of many wonderful things Jones has gifted unto us in the spirit of all that is good in this world – “incited hatred, serious contempt and severe ridicule of Lebanese Muslims” and were a direct breach of the Anti-Discrimination Act with which Jones is a well-acquainted frenemy.
Jones put his famed apology skills to good use this morning when he apologised in a pre-recorded 38-second segment broadcast at 8.00am on 2GB, saying, “I apologise for making these comments and recognise they were unlawful and apologise on behalf of 2GB.”
Also, ‘destroying the joint,’ ‘died of shame,’ why is Alan Jones still a thing etc.
