The SXSW buzzed remix of Kendrick Lamar’s Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe feat. Jay-Z has been posted for your streaming pleasure, and it’s pretty awesome. Far from the paint by the numbers, insert Hova verse here cash-in skeptical fans feared, the new version sees a lively Jay-Z sounding genuinely excited to share a track with the rap game’s next big thing, but it’s the additional victory lap verses from Kendrick that steal the show.

It’s usually a bad sign when the cover art is the best thing about the single but this time around, it’s a case of great single, brilliant artwork. Obviously Hova is Jordan, Kendrick is Kobe, with a rumored circulating that the only reason Kanye West didn’t drop a verse, is because no one could find a photo with Kobe, Jordan, and Rasheed Wallace chilling in the same photo.
