Whether it’s food coupons, festival “media passes”, or clothing samples, in these tough economic times I’ve been reduced to a desperate virgin at a frat party. I’ll take whatever I can get.
We all know “free” doesn’t necessarily mean good, in fact it usually equates to the opposite: faulty, undesirable or “look out bait and switch scheme ahead!”. But rest assured, there are still events that will make you feel like the studio audience of an Oprah giveaway show. Thankfully The Sydney Festival’s opening night is one such event.
Featuring locals such as Mission Control, Bag Raiders, Ajax and Bang Gang as well as internationals such as Busy P, A-Trak and Santogold this is one freebie that you have to take advantage of.
