A spectre of doubt is looming pretty large over the hyped-up heads of Black Kids. Recently singer Reggie Youngblood revealed he’s unsure about the band’s future at this point in time.
“I don’t know if there’s going to be a second record. If anything, performing has hindered my songwriting because I’m used to writing on my own pace, at my leisure, or while I’m supposed to be working a proper job. I don’t really have time to sit down. When I’m not performing, I’m usually really tired and just want to sleep.”
Can you blame the poor Kid? I’d be feeling pretty emo if everyone got tired of my band after three months and all my songs sounded better once remixed by the Twelves.
