As of this moment that jovial fellow with the facial hair, flying reindeer and penchant for red is probably ordering Mrs. Claus to “GET ME SOME DRANK!” and resting his tired-ass feet on a jumble of broken toys, elf cadavers and coal. Still, we couldn’t resist posting this belated Christmas present from Sydney five-piece Bridezilla titled “Yuletide”.
Cut exclusively to soundtrack family arguments and the digestion of festive food products – “Yuletide” doesn’t scream Christmas per se; all indecipherable lyrics, tinkering footsteps and luscious underwater whale calls but it’s better than a pair of socks, more thoughtful than a gift voucher and much more substantial than The Temper Trap’s Christmas gift to the Australian public…a giant box filled with NOTHING!
