Jury Finds Conrad Murray Guilty In Michael Jackson Case

There ain’t no sunshine for Dr. Conrad Murray who is facing up to four years in prison after a jury found him guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson. Prosecutors argued that Dr Murray was responsible for administering the King Of Pop with off the wall quantities of the drug propofol that ultimately caused his death in 2009.

It took nine hours for the jury to reach the decision and sentencing will be handed out on 29 November. Dr Murray could get up to four years in prison and the not-smooth criminal is sure to lose his medical license.

What we can take away from the tragedy is that prescription drug abuse and enablers of abuse are dangerous and bad.
