Nickelodeon Australia has a great opportunity available for a Web Designer to join the team on a casual basis for up to 3 months!

Based in our Darlinghurst office, this role will be responsible for the creation of the bulk of general digital image assets e.g. content thumbnails, featured header images with an understanding of how these will translate on a responsive platform from Desktop to tablet and mobile devices.

The key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Designing digital specific imagery that translates across desktop, tablet and mobile
  • Thumbnail and general website image design
  • Uploading image assets via CMS
  • Quality control of website content image assets 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Software knowledge – Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or equivalent image editing software
  • Understanding of digital specific design vs traditional print design differences
  • Basic understanding of Website management – HTML, CMS
  • Able to work under tight timelines and manage projects.
  • Multi-task, deliver within tight deadlines.
  • Maintain a strong working and trusting relationship with team members.
  • Conceptualisation and Creative-thinking, propose new refreshing ideas.
  • Interest in the brand – both programming and our audience
