Capture Some A-Grade ‘Gram Content At These Melbourne Laneways

Contributor: PEDESTRIAN.TV

There’s no denying that Melbourne packs one hell of a cultural punch, and that extends all the way to its bloody laneways. Yep, its laneways. The traditionally drab, garbage-bin-lined segway between one road and another. The narrow passages that really don’t need spicing up in order to serve their entirely functional purpose.

But hey, that’s Melbourne for you. The cooler-than-cool gem of the South-East Coast that serves as a pilgrimage destination for our nations hipsters and left-leaning units – the sort of people who would never actively seek out a backdrop for their Instagram content, but ‘just so happen to stumble across‘ an area perfect for capturing a decent pic and think they may as well grab one while they’re there.

Regardless of whether you’re unashamed with your social media activities, or want to appear like you DILIGAF, these laneways are the perfect feed-fuelling canvases. Get around ’em.

While hitting laneways for a photo opp is fab, you’ll probably want to do a few other things while you’re out and about too. Short on ideas? Check out the video below. While roadtesting Rimmel London‘s new 25HR Lasting Finish Breathable foundation and concealer (aptly named as such given just how breathable and long-lasting it really is), Ken Denis shows us some of his fave spots around the city that he uses as a way to take a breather – including the very ~happening~ Hosier Lane.

Happy photo taking, y’all. May the engagement be ever in your favour.
