HELL YEAH: Jetstar Just Brought Back Their Half-Price Fares To Japan

You there! You’ve bloody well earned a holiday, we reckon. A cheeky little break. A good old fashioned getaway. An international muck around. And if you’re keen to blast the ole’ yawn factory, you’re absolutely in luck: Jetstar, the kind sods that they are, have officially brought back their hugely popular half-price sale that’ll get you sailing into Japan for next-to-nothing.

The airline is offering flights to Tokyo and Osaka with a free return leg, essentially cutting yr airfare squarely in half, meaning you’ll be able to go check out the land of the rising sun for as little as $289 return. That is absolutely bonkers. You can barely get a decent domestic Australian flight for that price.

Flights in the sale start at $289 to Tokyo (Narita) from Cairns, and are available for selected dates between November 2017 and July 2018 (excluding the peak period of December through January, obvs).

All the standard T&Cs for a Jetstar flight apply: If you’re keen on checking some bags in you’re gonna have to fork out a bit extra, and the fares only apply if you’re planning on leaving and returning to the same destination, no tricky multi-city juggling to be done here.

But even still, getting all the way to sodding Japan and being able to get back home for free? That’s a dang good deal. Cop the prices included in the sale listed below.

To Tokyo (Narita) return from:
Cairns – $249
Gold Coast – $319
Brisbane – $429
Sydney – $430
Melbourne – $472
Adelaide – $490

To Osaka return from:
Cairns – $299
Brisbane – $439
Melbourne – $482
Sydney – $484

If you’re keen to get around the deal, you’ve got a week to get yourself sorted: The sale ends at 11:59pm on Wednesday, September 20th.

Cop all the info on it via the Jetstar website.
