Gamer Heaven Exists & It’s This Hotel In Taiwan W/ Hectic Rigs In Each Room

If you’re a gigantic nerd who simply must have access to a powerful gaming PC at all times, we have the perfect holiday destination for you.

The i hotel in the Taiwanese city of Taipei has been crowned the first eSports-themed hotel in Asia, and as you can see, it’s been built to accommodate gamers specifically.

Every room packs two gaming PCs with i5-7400 processors, 16GB of RAM, GTX 1080 Ti graphics cards and 32-inch monitors. For the lesser nerds out there, that’s a pretty hectic gaming rig. To top it off, each one features a DXRacer gaming chair so your ass can be comfortable while you play.

If you’re feeling extra competitive, the hotel’s lobby has a larger gaming area where you can participate in tournaments. But if you just wanna chill, your room also has a 55-inch 4K tele, so get stuck into the minibar and give that thing a whirl.

There’s plenty of other little quirks, too, like the elevator that plays the Imperial March song from Star Wars. Classic.

According to Mashable, the nightly rates start at around $US100 ($126), but you can pay an hourly rate starting at $US12 ($15) if you just want a taste. You can suss out a walkthrough video below, which is great even though it’s not in English.

I don’t care how nerdy you think it is, ending a day of travel with some top-notch gaming is my idea of goddamn heaven.
