As far as we can see it, Australian travellers have two possible methods of reaching Honolulu for $249: you can either buy a stand-up paddleboard on Gumtree and brave the high seas yourself, or wait for Jetstar’s upcoming flight sale.

While the first option is deadset enticing, the second is definitely more achievable.

From tomorrow, Jetstar will be offering its most basic one-way flight from Sydney to the Hawaiian capital for that seriously swish price. The travel periods on offer extend from July to December this year, and from January to March 2018.

If you’re dead keen to scope out the islands – as you should be – you’ll have until the end of Monday to take advantage of the ridic fares.

For those less inclined to experience one of the most lauded destinations on planet Earth, a bevy of domestic fares await. Adelaide to Melbourne tickets are going for $49, and Gold Coast to Sydney flights will set you back $45, so get your day-trip plans in order.

Scope out the remainder of the nitty-gritty details (checked luggage will be cost extra, but just buy clothes there!) when the sale goes live, riiiight HERE.
