Eco-Friendly Tiny Homes Are Coming To The Sunny Coast For All Your Back To Nature Needs

CABN - Queensland - Cooloola Great Walk

It’s nothing new to nature lovers that the Sunshine Coast serves up some particularly spectacular scenes for your hiking pleasure. Well good news, mates, because the particularly popular 102 km Cooloola Great Walk will be enhanced with a bunch of eco-cabins thanks to CABN.

If you’ve somehow missed the growing buzz, CABN has been setting up tiny homes in the middle of Australia’s most beautiful wilderness spots so you can completely detox from modern life (yes, that means most of them don’t get phone reception). They provide basic amenities, and you provide the rest. As their website proclaims:

“Our completely off-grid, sustainable and eco-friendly tiny houses set in some of Australia’s most stunning and stimulating landscapes offer an ideal escape. Give yourself a fighting chance with a short stay, recharge your batteries and retreat in style.”

They started off with a small handful of cabins in Victoria and South Australia that have been so popular you need to book months in advance. Now, they’ve announced their coming Queensland offerings coming in 2021.

“We will be collaborating with the traditional owners, the Kabi Kabi people and Queensland Government to enhance the iconic 102 km Cooloola Great Walk with beautiful, sustainable accommodation, creating a truly world-class walk and experience,” CABN explained in a statement.

The five-day hike from Noosa North Shore to Rainbow Beach will become dotted with a handful of completely eco-friendly tiny homes so you can switch off and get back to nature, while staying in more luxury than a tent you have to drag along yourself.

They haven’t released images of the new cabins yet, but just take a gander at how gorge their other ones are. You KNOW they’re gonna be good!
