Just A Bunch Of The Coolest Rooftop Bars In Brisbane To Jazz Up Your Vacay

Best Rooftop Bars In Brisbane

I don’t care who you are – the second you take a few sips of your freshly poured rosé on the balcony of a rooftop bar, you’re instantly about 70% more chic and probably well on your way to becoming an influencer. Not like those riffraff on ground level.

Of course, the key to really nailing the rooftop bar on the head is a dash of warmth and sunshine, which Brisbane has in droves. Which is why if you’re not spending one of your next weekends at one of these fab bars, you’re not doing it right.

Eleven Roofttop Bar

What did I say about your upcoming influencer status? It all starts here mates, with decor that’s inspired by the rooftops of Istanbul and 180 degree views of the Brissy city skyline, Eleven Rooftop Bar in the famous Fortitude Valley is the perfect backdrop for a few bevvies.

There delish food – including share plates featuring confit duck leg, Mooloolaba prawns and gin and tonic oysters – and a very fun cocktail list.

NEXT Hotel

From personal experience, I can tell you that NEXT Hotel’s rooftop pool and bar go absolutely off on a Friday night, particularly with the suit and tie wearing crowd. Which isn’t surprising seeing as is located smack bang in the middle of Queen Street Mall. You’ll find tapas, pizza and burgers on the menu too, which is exactly what you want when sipping on your cocktails.

X Cargo

It doesn’t get much funkier than X Cargo in the heart of Fortitude Valley. It’s literally made up of a collection of shipping containers. If that level of hipster chic is anything to go by, you won’t be surprised then that it’s basically foodie heaven.

It might be above the bay Ann Street, but Elixir Rooftop Bar is quite literally a hidden garden oasis. It’s got almost French garden-party vibes, with wooden decor, plants every and even day bed seating. Their bar tenders are not just good, they’ve actually won awards. And their tapas and canapés are the perfect thing to snack on.

Sixteen Antlers

Why the name Sixteen Antlers? Because its funky roof ‘branches’ look like antlers. Also sitting above Ann Street, you get awesome views over the city. They have a selection of boutique beers, cocktails and wines on the menu – plus tapas for your inevitable snacking. And live DJs every Friday and Saturday night.

Eagles Nest

I would personally say that Kangaroo Point has some of the prettiest views in Brisbane, and that’s exactly where you’ll find Eagles Nest, looking out over the river. Every Friday and Saturday from 3pm the rooftop bar comes alive. Their signature cocktails are something else, but there’s also craft beer and plenty of wine.
