WATCH: Finally, There’s A VR Game Which Lets You Stomp A City Like Godzilla

Ever wished you could Godzilla the living heck out of a city? Stomp around and eat some buildings and shit? Well wish no longer ya monster loving mongrels, the City VR experience will scratch your itch.

Ayyyy.
Or maybe it won’t. You can’t really crush or knock shit over, but you can change your size depending on how monstrous you’d like to be. You can even walk around like a normal person if that’s the kinda vanilla stuff you’re into.
The experience uses drone and satellite imagery to recreate the city of San Francisco for you to virtually suss as a monumental giant. Eventually, Chicago and New York will be available as downloadable content. While it can be used with both the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive headsets, you can apparently “virtually touch” certain buildings using the HTC controllers. We’re not entirely sure what the appeal of that is, but hey, it’s probably very nice.

Check out some footage of the game below.
