Snapchat Finally Lets You Send More Than 10 Seconds Of Bloody Video

Ooft, Snapchat are really pumping out those updates, aren’t they? It was only a couple of weeks ago that they added the ability to add backgrounds and filter voices without the usual visual filters.

Today’s update no adds two more nifty abilities: a Photoshop-esque tinting feature and the ability to record multiple snaps in the same shot.
You see, the biggest hurdle with Snapchat is figuring out how to overcome the 10 second limit on videos. By the time you’ve sent off the first one, you’ve missed another 10 or so seconds of the action prior to recording your second snap.
It’s the epitome of first-world problems, but they’ve bloody fixed it, folks. Now you can record for a total of 60 seconds.
All you have to do is keep holding your finger on the record button and once it hits 10 seconds, it’ll just keep going. Each 10 second segment will appear down the bottom as a separate snap where you can choose to keep or delete particular ones from your overall collection by dragging that shit into the trash can.
The tint function is pretty straight forward – take a picture, tap the scissors on the right side of the screen and tap the paintbrush at the bottom of the list. From there, choose a colour and trace around what you want to tint to see it magically change.
Here’s a picture of me. I haven’t tinted this at all, I’m always just green as fuck.
Happy snapping.
