The cybersecurity firm says of all the famous folk out there, searching for Avril Lavigne online is a total fucking hazard, listing her as the celebrity most likely to lead you to websites teeming with viruses. See ya later, boi.
Searches for the pop-punk artist have a 14.5 percent chance of chucking you onto a page with potential online threats. That risk increases to 22 percent if you include “free MP3s” in the search. Christ, that’s funny.

There’s a few reasons why McAfee reckons Lavigne made it to the top of the list. The most obvious is the buzz she created by announcing she’s working on new music. Because internet scumbags piggyback their malicious shit on highly searched terms, this makes a lot of sense.
She also had a popular feature done on her by E! Online recently, but everyone’s favourite reason to search the star is because of the conspiracy that she was killed and replaced by a lookalike.
