Well, this is something else entirely. A teenage boy from Melbourne is reportedly facing criminal charges after he repeatedly hacked his way into Apple’s secure network from his Apple laptops.

Key word being ‘repeatedly’.
The 16-year-old appeared at the Children’s Court on Thursday where his lawyer explained the hacking had only happened because “he was such a fan of the company”, as per The Age, and hoped to work for them in the future.
Well, that’s one way to catch an employer’s attention.
Such a fan, the boy reportedly downloaded 90gb of secure files and accessed customer accounts.
Though this is all very much a crime and we should not be making light of it, the boy had stashed his instructions and sensitive Apple files in a folder by the name of “hacky hack hack”.

However, if you’re an Apple user you can rest easy and know that no data was lost in the hacking.
The ginormous company told Reuters: “We… want to assure our customers that at no point during this incident was their personal data compromised”.
Obviously, because of the boy’s age he cannot legally be identified but as The Age reports, his defence lawyer told the court the teenager is so famous in the international community of hackers that “even mentioning the case in detail could expose him to risk”.
So, I mean if you’ve heard whispers of an internationally renowned/infamous hacker from Melbourne – this is probably he.
