You Can Have A Perf Beer Brewed According To Your DNA For A Cool $42K

There are so many varieties of beer out there that it can be difficult to pin down your favourite. Even if you think you have, there are likely many that you’re yet to try.

This is a worrying prospect and I am actually trembling as I type this. What if everything I know is a lie and Coopers Green is simply a substandard beer? I refuse to believe it.
What if we told you that a perfect beer could be brewed just specifically to your tastes? A beer of your very own that you’ll definitely love because of science. Genetics company 23andMe can do just that. For a price.
For the totally, extremely acceptable and worth it price of $42,000, the company will delve deep into a sample of your spit to identify the kinds of tastes you enjoy according to your DNA. Specifically, it picks up on a chemical called propylthiouracil, which is similar to the bitter shit found in dark beers, cabbage and raw broccoli.
Once analysed, you’ll get a one-on-one session with the master brew-lord of Meantime Brewery, who will teach you how to craft your favourite beer. Once you’ve made it and cried at the thought of nothing ever topping this moment, the beer will be hand-delivered to your front door.
Not like this, though
You can even have a keg delivered to your local pub for an extra cost.
I will probably never have the kind of money needed to do this, so I’ll just stick to Coopers. But hey, I’m more than ok with this.
