For everyone who’s passionate about something in their life – be it gaming, photography, music, or sleeping until 6pm and feeling severely disorientated when they wake up – we’ve partnered with RACV to host the Sideliner Series masterclasses to rediscover the spark that is often lost in the fold of full-time work and maintaining an adequate social life.
We recruited three professionals in their respective fields to host the sessions (all of the aforementioned interests minus over-sleeping, sorry bed enthusiasts), which consist of a cheeky presentation, a Q&A and the option to network with other gaming buffs, as well as driving home the need to look after the possessions that we hold close to our hearts.
Lisy Kane, co-founder of Girl Geek Academy and overall gaming legend, was kind enough to lend her wisdom to the gaming masterclass, where she schooled the group on the different types of gamers and gave pointers outlining how to hit the ground running and create your own game.
