RACV has partnered with PEDESTRIAN.TV to help you protect the stuff in your life you love the most, and for lots of us, what we love is gaming. If you share the same passion and wanna take it to the next level, keep reading, friends.

For everyone who’s passionate about something in their life – be it gaming, photography, music, or sleeping until 6pm and feeling severely disorientated when they wake up – we’ve partnered with RACV to host the Sideliner Series masterclasses to rediscover the spark that is often lost in the fold of full-time work and maintaining an adequate social life.

We recruited three professionals in their respective fields to host the sessions (all of the aforementioned interests minus over-sleeping, sorry bed enthusiasts), which consist of a cheeky presentation, a Q&A and the option to network with other gaming buffs, as well as driving home the need to look after the possessions that we hold close to our hearts.

The three types of gamers

Lisy Kane, co-founder of Girl Geek Academy and overall gaming legend, was kind enough to lend her wisdom to the gaming masterclass, where she schooled the group on the different types of gamers and gave pointers outlining how to hit the ground running and create your own game. Take a squiz at the video below:

If you want to pick Lisy’s brain some more, chuck your deets in the competition form below for a chance to win a 1-on-1 session with the gaming pro. It’ll be a one-on-one chat, so you can ask anything you want without fear of other people throwing their champagne glasses at you. T&C’s apply which you can find on the entry form.

Love your music and camera skillz too? Check out the other Sideliner Series sessions, Music led by Jack River and Photography/Content Creation held by Chris Cincotta. Best hurry tho – all sessions are held in Melb over the next few weeks and places are limited.

In the meantime, make sure the gaming stuff you just can’t live without is protected with RACV’s Single Item Insurance. Because we all know how expensive gaming hardware can get.

Cover starts from as little as $2.17 a month and everything is managed online through the Single Item Insurance Portal, where you can instantly file a claim if something goes wrong.
