In a world first, a real-life artist has debuted new music within the Grand Theft Audio universe. Popular DJ, Solomun, had a music video for a song from his new EP, Customer is King, shot entirely in GTA V.

The video shows Solomun, who was recreated as a character within the game, running various errands throughout the world while trying not to get utterly fucked up by everything going on around him. As well as the iconic landscapes of Los Santos, the clip also features a number of familiar faces.
You can check out the clip for yourself below.
The video comes off the back of GTA Online‘s latest update, After Hours, which lets players buy and manage their own nightclubs. It also allows you to hire real-world DJs to perform their actual music in your club for its in-game patrons, Solomun being the first available option.
Don’t worry, there’s plenty more coming, as well. Tale of Us will join the lineup on July 31, Dixon on August 7, and The Black Madonna on August 14.
Rockstar has always been big on musical inclusions within the GTA universe, primarily in terms of radio stations, but it’s really cool to see them experiment with other ways to get actual artists to showcase their work in a digital setting.
