A week on from Donald Trump‘s shock US election win and we, like many others, are just fricken sick of seeing his stupid orange face everywhere we look.
How does one overcome such a depressing image? For Aussie burger lords, Mr Burger, the answer was easy – just cover it pictures of delicious burgers.
The ‘Make Trump Burger Again’ Chrome extension will do just that. Say goodbye to Donald’s creepy and exceptionally punchable face and hello to a mouthwatering burger. Yes please.
Amazed and somewhat baffled at the news of an Australian burger chain creating such a beautiful piece of code, we spoke to their founder, Daragh Kan, to get the red hot scoop. He says the inspiration came from the same disgust that most of us have been feeling recently.
“We were getting sick of seeing Trump’s face around. We thought our friends might feel the same way,” Kan told PEDESTRIAN.TV. Damn right, pal.
Working with their mates at Advanced Quantum Solutions to craft this wonderful plugin, he said it all started out as some jovial fun, but has managed to garner plenty of attention for the humble burgersmiths.
“For us, it was just a bit of a joke that we thought might make a few of our fans laugh, but we’ve had people from all over Australia and even Europe and the US covering it. If it means more people know about our burgers, then bonus!”
Now for the questions you’ve all been waiting for – if Trump was actually a burger, what would he be? “Probably full of baloney,” said Kan.
And what about everyones favourite racist red head, Pauline Hanson. What food would she be?
“Cold fish and chips”.
