For those of you who absolutely cannot get enough of that brand new Mac smell, there’s now a way to keep that pungent whiff of metal around long after the smell of your own butt begins pushing through the underside of that shiny new laptop.
Some intrepid genius has extrapolated the essence of new Mac and concentrated it down into wax form, creating the you-absolutely-asked-for-it Mac Scented Candle.
Apple retailers Twelve South have managed to knock together the soy wax candles that’ll have your house reeking of a Genius Bar in no time (faint wafting stench of BO and despair coming from the Genius themselves not included).
This distilled form of the New Mac aroma apparently includes hints of mint, peach, basil, lavender, mandarin, and sage.
The candles have an approximate burn time of 45-55 hours. The chances of an App Store update that will fix the release-day bugs and increase this burn time are, for the moment, slim.
