Nintendo‘s fresh take on the Super Smash Bros. franchise is finally here, folks, and so are the reviews. According to most of them, it seems like it was certainly worth the wait.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is currently sitting at a tidy score of 93 on Metacritic, with the general consensus being that it definitely lives up to its title. It’s absolutely packed with content, including 74 fighters, 108 stages, and almost 1,300 Spirit characters to collect. Furthermore, most reports say the single player mode takes around 20 hours to complete, so there’s plenty to keep you busy for a long time.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate lives up to its name, offering the most comprehensive game in the series to date. It has an absurd amount to play, fight, and unlock – though that can be to its detriment at times. While the World of Light adventure mode isn’t reason alone to get Smash Bros., it’s still a consistently amusing and shockingly large campaign, and a worthy compliment to Ultimate’s incredible multiplayer core.
