If you happen to be attending the Sugar Mountain festival in Melbourne next year, there’s some Inception-esque party shit going down that you should know about.
Along with your standard festival happenings, there’ll also be a secret club somewhere within the grounds. A party within a party, if you will.
The trick to finding this secret soiree is augmented reality – the same tech used by apps like Pokémon GO. While it hasn’t been confirmed, there will more than likely be some kind of app you’ll need to download to find it.
Essentially, it’ll be a lot like Pokémon GO, only instead of monsters, you’ll be looking for a doorway to liquor, dancing and bad decisions.
Presented by Absolut Nights, the hidden box social will showcase sets by Andee Frost, Whiskey Houston, Kate Miller and two international acts that will be announced on the day. There’ll also be some whack art installations for you to gawk at.
Sugar Mountain is on January 21 at Melbourne’s VCA and is headlined by Blood Orange, Little Simz and Pantha Du Prince.
