EA Just Unveiled Some ‘Jedi: Fallen Order’ Gameplay & It Looks Good As Hell

EA has kicked off this year’s pre-E3 festivities with a big one, folks. The company has unveiled just under 14 minutes of gameplay footage from its upcoming Star Wars game, Jedi: Fallen Order.

Unlike a lot of its later titles, Fallen Order is a single-player game and puts you in the shoes of Cal Kestis, a survivor of the Jedi Purge you might remember from Episode III. While the game certainly looks amazing from a visual standpoint, the actual gameplay mechanics seem varied and a lot of fun.

The demo takes place on the planet Kashyyyk, which is where all those furry Wookie legends like Chewy are from. Among your abilities, you’ll be able to slow down time, use force push and pull, and hit lasers back at Storm Troopers like belting a six over the boundary. Classic stuff.

You can – and should – check out the footage for yourself below.

Fallen Order was developed by Respawn Entertainment, who is well-regarded for the battle royale masterpiece, Apex Legends. You’ll also notice you have a cute little droid companion hanging around on your back, who can help you do all kinds of cool shit.

If you’re keen for some lightsabre-swinging action, you’ll be able to pick up Jedi: Fallen Order on November 15 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
