For those of you out there who partake in a little cosplay (dressing up as characters from games or movies) from time to time, finding real-world alternatives to your favourite character’s get-up can be a real challenge.
But have you ever thought about what a real life version of Master Chief‘s armour would set ya back? How about Trevor from Grand Theft Auto 5? You could probably dress like him for 50 well-spent bucks at Lowes.
The Sunglass Warehouse were also plagued with such questions and instead of remaining unenlightened, took matters into their own hands to find the best possible substitutes for the costumes of our favourite video game characters to estimate what they would cost IRL.
Donkey Kong seems to be the outfit for a tight budget, but you’ll definitely have to get your bits out if that’s the path you’re gonna go down.
