Some Legendary Nerd Created A 3D Printed Model Of The Original Zelda World

Before the internet was widely used in homes, you couldn’t just look up game maps, you had to figure that shit out on your own, or draw your own crappy maps.

Instead of that archaic trash, some absolute lord went far beyond paper, creating and painting a 3D printed model of the original Legend of Zelda world. As you’d expect, it looks fkn dope.
Purchased via the Trade Sell Collect Retro Facebook page by Willard McFarland, he told Retro Gaming Mag that the individual he bought it from had spent 6 months building the map in Minecraft. From that, they created the 3D printer file which took 24 hours to print, then spent 6 hours painting it.
It’s unknown exactly what McFarland paid for the model, but according to the same article, it could have been as low as $100.
You can have a closer look in the pics below. If you’re anything like me, all they’ll make you wanna do is go home and get stuck into some 8-bit dungeon action.
