Justin Roiland, the co-creator of popular cartoon series, Rick & Morty, has been hard at work on his very first game, and now we have a release date for it. Revealed via a foul-mouthed new trailer, Trover Saves the Universe will hit the PS4 and PSVR on May 31.

Like everything Roiland’s done so far, Trover is an outlandish and hilarious adventure which takes place in a fictional universe. While it’s already been confirmed that it’s not the same universe as Rick & Morty, it seems to share a lot of the same traits, the biggest of which is Roiland’s signature voices.

Following a short PlayStation exclusive, the game will launch on PC through both Steam and the Epic Games store on June 4. Check out the new trailer below.

Looks like one helluva ride. You’ll play as a member of an alien species who is forever bound to a chair – aptly named, the Chairopians – which is certainly a clever way of making you feel like you’re actually part of the game. After some weird bird-like asshole put your two dogs in his eyes, you have to get them back with the help of a bloke named Trover, which is who you control throughout.

Essentially, it’s going to be a game in which most of the enemies sound like Justin Roiland, so, it’ll be very funny. And hey, it’ll also kill some time while you’re waiting for the new season of Rick & Morty to get here.
