If you haven’t had your dose of childhood nostalgia for the week, we’ve got a fucking bucket-load just in time for the weekend.
The totally remastered Crash Bandicoot trilogy is out today on PlayStation 4, perfect for reliving some Saturday morning video game action.
For those who never played the original games (you poor fools), the series featured Crash Bandicoot, Cortex Strikes Back and Warped, throwing the player through a number of courses in order to stop that big-headed asshole, Dr. Neo Cortex.
As you’d expect, Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy has applied a fresh new coat of paint to the old games, allowing you to reminisce without sending you blind via horrible graphical fidelity. Trust me, they have not aged well.
You can pick up the game at your usual stores. EB Games have it for $69.95 and JB Hi-Fi are hocking it for $49, but some reports are saying the latter has sold out of online stock, so you’ll have to trek it into a a store like the old days.
Or you can just download it from the PlayStation online store. Physical copies are for chumps.
Suss out the refreshing action in the trailer below.
Ahh, slick. He still runs like a weirdo, though.
