Prepare to do absolutely piss-all work today, ‘cos Super Mario Run is available to download right now. Do it.
It’s the first time the iconic Nintendo character has officially come to party on iOS and the fans are bloody loving it. The side-scrolling platformer can be played with just one hand, as Mario will automatically run from left to right while players tap the screen to jump, either to avoid obstacles or to get dem sweet, sweet coins.
You can also lay waste to ya mates in competitive mode by collecting the most coins during a run or by “impressing” the most turtles with crazy stunts and combos.
Weirdly, you can’t play the game offline, which sucks for anyone wanting to get their game on during a flight or in a reception-less void.
Exclusive to iPhone and iPad, you can download the game for free, but you’ll only get two levels. After that, you can access the rest by making a one-off purchase of $14. Worth it.
