Increasingly wanting to stick their fingers into every single one of the pies, Facebook have today introduced arcade games to their Messenger app.
Sure, it’s not their first venture into the waters of gaming, but it’s certainly much better than Lucky Slots and the infuriating notifications you get from the 3 of your friends that play it. Never play Lucky Slots if you are friends with me.
If you updated your Messenger app today, you’ll notice the Instant Games button in the shape of a controller at the bottom of your chat windows. Here you can feast on a smorgasbord of delicious arcade delights like Pac-Man and Space Invaders. Ahh, you can’t beat the classics.
Unlike the cute little Messenger football and basketball games that behaved more like easter eggs, these are fast-loading, full versions of the arcade relics.
So get into the update and verse ya mates in a red-hot game of Pac-Man, for the winner will hold bragging rights for all eternity.
