If COVID-19 enforced social isolation means you’re putting your gym plans on hold (and in the wise words of my girl Ariana Grande, your hip-hop yoga class can wait), then the Keep It Cleaner girls have got your back.
Steph Claire Smith and Laura Henshaw are hosting free online workouts for people over the next few weeks and months, taking you through sweat sessions you can do from the comfort of your own home. No equipment? No problem.
“At KIC our mission has always been to provide easily accessible ways for our community to lead an active lifestyle,” Steph and Laura said on Instagram.
“With recent events taking place around the world at the moment, we understand getting to the gym can be more difficult than usual. We want to ensure we are offering ways in which we can continue to stay connected, but also encourage overall wellbeing during this challenging time.”
The classes will take place on Wednesdays and Fridays at 7am, broadcast over Instagram and Facebook Live from the KIC accounts. Wednesdays will be strength workouts and Fridays will be HIIT workouts, so you can mix it up and help stop yourself going stir crazy during this self-isolation period.
Remember: right now we’re all socially distancing not just to protect ourselves from contracting COVID-19, but to help slow the spread of it and prevent our health care systems from becoming overloaded. It’s about helping to flatten the curve, and we can all pitch in.
Going into a 14-day coronavirus self-isolation? Here’s what you actually need.
